About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, and social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit promotional, marketing, social media, corporate, and product videos.
- Create short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and background music.
- Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and basic visual effects.
- Collaborate with the marketing, branding, and design teams to deliver compelling content.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video assets.
- Organize and manage video files and project assets efficiently.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines while maintaining high quality.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Experience with motion graphics and animated text.
- Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, and pacing.
- Knowledge of color grading and audio editing.
- Familiarity with social media content formats and platform requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of video editing experience (Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome).
- Experience editing SaaS, technology, startup, or branding content is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
- Understanding of AI-based editing tools is a bonus.
Portfolio Requirement
Applicants must share:
- Portfolio or showreel
- YouTube, Vimeo, Behance, or Google Drive link
- Examples of short-form and long-form video projects
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience, portfolio quality, and engagement type (Freelance, Contract, or Full-Time).
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
