Job Description
We are looking for a Junior SAP Basis Consultant with at least one year of relevant experience and a good understanding of SAP Basis administration. The candidate will assist with routine system monitoring, user administration, troubleshooting, and technical support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor SAP systems, background jobs, work processes, logs, and system performance.
- Perform user creation, role assignment coordination, password resets, and access-related support.
- Assist with transport management across SAP environments.
- Monitor system availability, database status, spool requests, and backups.
- Support SAP system start-up, shutdown, and routine maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot basic SAP Basis issues and coordinate escalations when required.
- Maintain technical records and follow standard operating procedures.
- Work with functional, ABAP, infrastructure, and database teams.
Required Skills
- Minimum one year of experience or practical exposure in SAP Basis.
- Basic understanding of SAP architecture and system landscape.
- Familiarity with SAP GUI, user administration, transports, background jobs, dumps, and system logs.
- Basic knowledge of client administration, kernel upgrades, patching, and database concepts.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work from the Hyderabad office.
