Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures in History and allied disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop, revise, and enhance curriculum in accordance with NEP guidelines and academic standards.
- Conduct innovative teaching using modern pedagogical methods and technology-enabled learning.
- Guide student research projects, dissertations, and field-based learning activities.
- Undertake quality research and publish papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals (Scopus/UGC CARE/Web of Science preferred).
- Participate in curriculum development, examination, assessment, and academic administration.
- Organize seminars, conferences, workshops, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), and guest lectures.
- Mentor students in academic, research, and career development.
- Establish collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, museums, archives, and heritage bodies.
- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance initiatives, and institutional development.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in History from a recognized university (Mandatory).
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in History with an excellent academic record.
- 2–20 years of teaching, research, or relevant academic experience.
- Strong research profile with quality publications and participation in national/international conferences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in ICT-enabled teaching and digital learning platforms.
