About Position:

What You'll Do:
Drive enterprise-wide AI governance strategy, frameworks, and controls ensuring responsible, secure, and compliant AI adoption across the organisation.
- Perform AI governance maturity assessment across policies, standards, oversight bodies, model inventory, risk processes, and audit readiness
- Define and implement enterprise AI governance framework including use case intake, classification (risk tiers), and approval workflows
- Establish model registry standards with documentation practices such as model cards and datasheets
- Align AI governance with data governance practices including consent management, data lineage, retention policies, and PII controls
- Develop vendor and model risk management frameworks for third-party AI services, including licensing and IP risk
- Define and implement GenAI security controls including prompt injection protection, data leakage prevention, and safe tool usage
- Develop and enforce Responsible AI principles including fairness, transparency, explainability, accountability, and human-in-the-loop practices
- Define evaluation and testing standards for AI models covering accuracy, bias, toxicity, hallucination risk, and robustness
- Establish monitoring frameworks including model performance tracking, drift detection, safety metrics, and incident response mechanisms
- Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory and policy alignment
- Support audit readiness by enabling evidence capture, documentation, and traceability across AI systems
- Create training programs, enablement material, and communication strategies to drive adoption of AI governance processes
Expertise You'll Bring:
Strong expertise in AI governance, risk management, and Responsible AI frameworks with the ability to design and operationalise enterprise-wide governance controls.
- 8–12 years of experience in AI governance, risk, compliance, or data governance roles
- Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, including model development, deployment, and monitoring
- Experience in designing governance frameworks, policies, and control mechanisms
- Knowledge of Responsible AI principles including fairness, explainability, transparency, and accountability
- Hands-on experience with model risk management and audit processes
- Familiarity with model documentation standards such as model cards and datasheets
- Experience with data governance tools and concepts including lineage, metadata, and privacy controls
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to AI and data privacy
- Experience in securing GenAI systems, including prompt injection mitigation and data protection
- Ability to define evaluation metrics and testing strategies for AI models
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across Legal, Security, and Compliance teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
