Job Description – CAAD / Interior Design Software Faculty
We are seeking a passionate and technically proficient CAAD / Interior Design Software Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in industry-leading interior design software, coupled with the ability to deliver engaging, hands-on training that prepares students for professional practice.
As a faculty member, you will be responsible for delivering practical software training, mentoring students in digital design workflows, and ensuring they develop the technical competencies required by the interior design industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct theory and practical sessions on interior design software.
- Train students in drafting, 3D modelling, rendering, visualization, and presentation techniques.
- Guide students in software-based assignments, projects, portfolios, and industry-standard workflows.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance technical proficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest software advancements, visualization techniques, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, exhibitions, and academic activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch), Interior Design (B.Sc/M.Sc Interior Design), Design (B.Des/M.Des), Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Candidates with relevant professional certifications and exceptional software expertise will have an added advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3DS Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Revit, D5 Render, Enscape, Coohom, Adobe Photoshop, and Lumion.
- Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver practical, hands-on training from beginner to advanced levels.
- Teaching experience or relevant industry experience in architectural or interior design software is preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
