Job Summary:
The Assistant Commercial Officer supports the Commercial Department by assisting with billing, documentation, customer coordination, invoice processing, data management, and commercial reporting. The role ensures timely and accurate commercial operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing customer invoices and commercial documents.
- Verify billing data and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Maintain records of invoices, contracts, and commercial files.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounts, and clients regarding commercial activities.
- Follow up on pending invoices and payment-related issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Assist in preparing quotations, purchase orders, and work orders.
- Ensure timely submission of commercial documents to clients and internal departments.
- Support vendor documentation and contract administration.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit purposes.
- Resolve routine commercial queries and escalate issues when required.
- Perform other commercial and administrative duties assigned by the Commercial Officer or Management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP software is preferred.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in Commercial, Logistics, Warehousing, Accounts, or Administration.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong computer skills may also be considered
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions, SUMIF, COUNTIF, Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, and basic data analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
