Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in Goods and Services Tax (GST) to manage end-to-end compliance, advisory, representation, and litigation support for our clients. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of GST laws and experience in handling multi-sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Return Filing
- Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly & annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.)
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with books of accounts Filing of refund applications under GST and following up with the department.
- Handling GST registration, amendment, and cancellation processes.
GST Audits & Reviews
- Conducting GST audits and annual reconciliations
- Preparing audit reports and documentation
- Assisting in internal control review and tax planning strategies
Advisory & Support
- Providing GST advisory services to clients in various sectors
- Analysing implications of notifications, circulars, and legal rulings
- Advisory support on complex transactions and structuring for tax efficiency
Litigation & Representation
- Drafting replies to GST departmental notices (SCNs, audit objections, etc.)
- Representing clients before GST authorities
- Assisting in appeal proceedings and tribunal matters
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (Fresher or up to 3 years of post-qualification experience) Strong knowledge of GST law, rules, and recent updates
- Good understanding of accounting and reconciliations
- Experience with GST tools/portals and ERP software (Tally, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Ability to handle multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience with Excel and GSTN portal
- Experience in handling assessments and departmental queries is a plus
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
