The NVH Analyst is responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) evaluations at both bench and vehicle levels. The role focuses on translating sound and vibration concerns into measurable engineering parameters, enabling accurate root cause identification, validation of corrective actions, and prevention of repeat issues.
This role enables objective understanding and control of sound and vibration behavior, supporting accurate root cause identification, effective validation, and improved customer confidence
- Plan and execute bench-level and vehicle-level NVH evaluations with defined objectives, repeatable methods, and traceable results.
Perform instrumentation, data acquisition, and sound quality assessment using OEM-accepted measurement practices.
Analyze NVH behavior using time-domain and frequency-domain techniques, including FFT-based signal processing.
Establish correlation between bench test results and vehicle-level performance to ensure real-world relevance.
Lead NVH root cause analysis involving design, material, process, and mounting contributors.
Define NVH test strategies, acceptance criteria, and validation parameters aligned with OEM standards to prevent repeat issues.
Validate corrective and preventive actions through objective measurement and documented evidence.
Support technical discussions and reviews with OEM NVH teams, presenting clear data, conclusions, and recommendations.
Prepare structured NVH reports suitable for customer submission and audit reference.
Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices.
Support leadership reviews with fact-based insights and clear recommendations.
5–8 years of experience in automotive NVH, acoustics, or vibration analysis. Exposure to OEM or Tier-1 NVH practices preferred
