The Mechanical QC Engineer is responsible for inspecting, testing, and ensuring that mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products meet the required quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical components and products.
- Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Indicator.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Identify non-conforming products and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Support root cause analysis for quality issues and customer complaints.
- Participate in internal quality audits and process improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Purchase departments regarding quality-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in manufacturing industries.
- Freshers with strong knowledge of measuring instruments may also be considered for trainee positions
