Job Summary:
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of buildings and infrastructure. This includes maintenance, safety, vendor management, and ensuring a clean, secure, and efficient working environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, and security.
- Ensure the building and equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly.
- Manage vendor contracts (housekeeping, security, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Handle space management, seating arrangements, and office layout planning.
- Manage utility consumption and optimize operational costs.
- Coordinate repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and service reports.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies.
- Support administrative functions and ensure smooth office operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in facility management or administration.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
- Good vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and facility management tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Facility Management / Business Administration or related field.
- Certifications in Facility Management (preferred).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
