About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in the financial management of the organization, overseeing both finance and accounting functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy of financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes. As an Accounts Executive, you will also collaborate with various departments to optimize financial processes and drive operational efficiency. This includes working with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate billing, as well as working with the procurement team to manage vendor relationships and streamline purchasing processes. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into the financial performance of the organization and highlighting areas for improvement. This will require you to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial principles and reporting standards. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record of success in managing financial operations and driving results. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger system, recording all financial transactions accurately and reconciling accounts on a regular basis.
Ensuring that all the defined processes are being followed and adhered to without any deviation.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing, to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
Coordination with the cross-functional teams within the organization, and the individual must work closely with them to ensure that the tasks are completed within the defined timelines.
The physical inventory check needs to be conducted regularly, and the re order point management must be handled efficiently.
The defined best-in-class inventory practices must be followed, and any changes or deviations must be brought to the notice of the concerned personnel.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.-- Assist in tax planning and compliance, preparing tax returns and supporting documentation for various tax filings.
Stay up-to-date with any relevant changes in finance matters and ensure that the knowledge is applied in the day-to-day operations of the role.
Candidate requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CA or CMA certification preferred. CA articleship is an added advantage.
Proven experience of min 3yrs in finance and accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial & accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Self-starter who can work with little supervision
Goal-oriented with the ability to track and achieve KPIs
Interest in the Food & Beverages industry
Pay: ₹20,627.08 - ₹28,034.97 per month
