Position Overview
Sauber Environmental Solutions Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, project accounting, and financial reporting functions.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in EPC / Construction / Infrastructure accounting, GST compliance, TDS management, project billing, and coordination with auditors and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally/ERP
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions (sales, purchase, payments, receipts)
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
- Monitor cash flow and fund requirements
2. GST & Taxation Compliance
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns)
- Reconciliation of GST data with books
- Manage GST TDS & IT TDS compliance
- Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS
- Handle GST notices and departmental communications
3. Statutory Compliance
- Compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, ESIC (in coordination with HR)
- Coordinate with statutory auditor and CA for audits
- Preparation of financial statements and schedules
- Ensure adherence to Companies Act provisions
4. Project Accounting & Billing
- Monitor project-wise cost tracking and budgeting
- Preparation and verification of RA bills
- Track receivables and follow-up for payments
- Maintain contract-wise financial data
- Monitor retention money and bank guarantees
5. MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial MIS reports
- Budget vs actual analysis
- Cash flow forecasting
- Support management in financial decision-making
- Assist in loan documentation and banking coordination
6. Vendor & Client Coordination
- Process vendor payments as per contract terms
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Follow-up with clients for outstanding receivables
- Manage credit control and ageing analysis
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax
- Experience in Tally ERP / ERP software
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Understanding of EPC / Construction accounting system
- Knowledge of project billing and cost control

Qualification & Experience
- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred)
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
