Job Summary
Responsible for executing vulnerability remediation and patching activities in an enterprise environment. Vulnerability inputs (scan results and findings) will be provided by the Security team; the role focuses on remediation execution, tracking, and closure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Consume vulnerability findings provided by Security team and support remediation execution • Track remediation progress and ensure closure within defined SLA timelines • Coordinate with infrastructure/application teams for patching and fixes • Support patch deployment and compliance tracking across Windows/Linux environments • Validate remediation closure through evidence and reporting mechanisms • Maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking sheets for vulnerabilities • Follow ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management) and governance standards
Skill Requirements
Understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle and remediation practices • Knowledge of OS patching (Windows/Linux) • Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools (tool agnostic) • Basic scripting (PowerShell / Shell) • Good communication and coordination skills
