Gradeup Academy is looking for a passionate and tech-savvy Coding Instructor to join our elite team. You will be responsible for teaching young learners (ages 7–15) the fundamentals of logic and programming through Scratch and Python. As we cater to a premium global audience, we expect high energy, clear communication, and a deep understanding of block-based and syntax-based coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-energy online coding sessions for students.
- Teach Scratch (logic, game design, sprites) and Python (syntax, loops, conditionals, basic algorithms).
- Simplify complex programming concepts into age-appropriate, fun lessons.
- Provide regular feedback to parents regarding student progress and cognitive development.
- Assist in refining the coding curriculum to stay ahead of global standards.
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
To ensure a seamless digital classroom experience, candidates must possess:
- Personal Laptop/PC: High-speed processor capable of running coding environments and video conferencing simultaneously.
- Stable Internet: High-speed broadband connection with a backup power/internet source to ensure zero downtime.
- Smartphone: For official communication and lead coordination.
- Environment: A quiet, professional, and well-lit workspace for conducting online classes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and Scratch.
- Prior experience in teaching or mentoring children is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to build rapport with children and keep them engaged in a remote setting.
- B.Tech/B.E./BCA or a background in Computer Science is a plus.
