Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrician to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, testing, and repair activities at client sites and within the workshop. The candidate should be capable of independently diagnosing electrical faults and supervising junior electricians and helpers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, starters, control panels, MCCs, distribution boards, pumps, and industrial electrical equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers (megger), and other electrical testing instruments.
- Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, glanding, jointing, and installation work.
- Handle maintenance of 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems.
- Inspect and maintain contactors, relays, overloads, MCCBs, MCBs, timers, sensors, and control circuits.
- Carry out motor testing, including insulation resistance, continuity, phase-to-phase resistance, and basic fault diagnosis.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuit diagrams.
- Identify unsafe electrical conditions and take corrective action.
- Ensure proper earthing, cable management, electrical connections, and safety practices.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, maintenance activities, test results, and replaced components.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, clients, and other maintenance personnel.
- Supervise and guide junior electricians and helpers.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within the required time.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE requirements, and site safety rules.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 5–10 years of relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to read electrical wiring and control diagrams.
- Practical experience with motors, control panels, starters, MCCs and distribution systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Willingness to work at client sites and during breakdown/emergency situations.

- Motor maintenance and troubleshooting
- Electrical control panels
- MCC and PCC panels
- Pumps and industrial machinery
- Motor starters – DOL, Star-Delta, soft starters
- VFD installation and troubleshooting
- Generator and DG electrical systems
- Preventive maintenance
- Electrical testing and commissioning

Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.
Experience: 5+ years preferred
Pay: ₹12,105.60 - ₹32,000.00 per month
