Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. The role involves maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar, ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations, handling cash and POS transactions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take beverage orders and recommend drinks based on guest preferences.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wine, beer, coffee, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, equipment, and glassware.
- Monitor bar inventory and inform the supervisor of stock shortages.
- Replenish liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, and other bar supplies.
- Verify the legal drinking age of guests and refuse service when required by law or hotel policy.
- Process guest bills accurately through the POS system and handle cash, card, and digital payments.
- Maintain proper records of daily sales and cash collections.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Minimize beverage wastage and control costs.
- Assist in bar opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate with restaurant service staff to ensure timely beverage service.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on new cocktails, beverages, and promotions.
- Promote upselling of premium beverages and signature cocktails to increase revenue.
Qualifications:
- Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or Diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality preferred.
- Professional bartending or mixology certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, or bar.
- Experience in a star hotel or premium hospitality establishment is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Strong cocktail and mocktail preparation skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and upselling abilities.
- Knowledge of bar inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.

Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Prolonged standing and lifting of beverage stock and bar supplies.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
