QUALIFICATION: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
EXPERIENCE: 5 to 6 Years
PROJECT TYPE: Factory Construction at Greenfield site
JOB PURPOSE:
The Project Manager will lead the execution of a greenfield factory construction project from ground excavation to final handover. Project Manager will oversee site development, civil structures, and infrastructure setup, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to engineering standards.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Execution: Manage all on-site civil works, including land leveling, foundations, road constructions, structural steel erection, industrial flooring etc.
- Planning & Scheduling: Create detailed project timelines (micro-planning) and track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against milestones.
- Contractor Management: Supervise civil contractors, sub-contractors, and labor forces to ensure work meets drawings and specifications.
- Quality & Safety Control: Implement strict quality checks for civil materials (concrete, steel) and enforce safety compliance on the greenfield site.
- Billing & Cost Control: Verify contractor measurement sheets, process progress bills, and monitor expenses against the allocated budget.
- Material Coordination: Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of cement, steel, and other construction materials to avoid downtime.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience specifically in industrial construction, factory buildings, PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings).
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership to handle site labor, excellent problem-solving skills for field challenges, and clear communication with stakeholders. Working knowledge of Assamese, English and Hindi language. Native / working experience in assam will be preferred.
After successfully execution of project, candidate can be retained for regular operational requirement.
