Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Economics Teacher for a Junior College (ISC Section) in Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise and proven experience teaching Class XI–XII Economics as per the ICSE/ISC curriculum, with a focus on conceptual clarity and board exam preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics to Junior College students (Class XI & XII – ISC)
- Deliver structured lessons aligned with the ISC syllabus
- Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments
- Design lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and revision schedules
- Monitor student performance and maintain academic records
- Participate in academic planning and school-related activities
Education:
- Master's Degree in Economics (Mandatory)
- B.Ed (Mandatory)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Prior ICSE/ISC Junior College experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong conceptual clarity in Economics (Micro & Macro)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Experience handling board-level curriculum
