Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 10–12 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, preparing financial statements, managing audits, and supporting financial planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Manage statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit observations.
- Prepare schedules and documentation required for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial controls.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within finance functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Experience in handling statutory audits and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
