About the Role
A private Mumbai household is looking for an experienced Family Chef to manage all cooking and kitchen operations for a family of four, with support from one kitchen helper.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cooking across Maharashtrian, Gujarati, North Indian, South Indian & Italian (veg) cuisines
- Healthy diet, breakfast/high-tea, and festive meal preparation
- Children's meals; guest/event cooking
- Menu planning, ingredient sourcing, stock rotation
- Supervising kitchen helper; maintaining hygiene, cleanliness & recipe records
Dietary Requirements
- Vegetarian kitchen with eggs permitted
Candidate Profile
- Candidates with a strong background in luxury hospitality and high service standards will be preferred.
- Strong in regional Indian vegetarian cooking; able to lead kitchen staff independently
