Job Responsibilitiesineering
- Manage day-to-day production activities for CT (Current Transformer) and PT/VT (Potential Transformer).
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per quality, quantity, and delivery schedules.
- Understand CT/PT manufacturing processes such as core assembly, winding, insulation, assembly, vacuum/epoxy casting, terminal fitting, and final assembly, depending on product design.
- Prepare and follow production plans, work instructions, and process sheets.
- Monitor manpower, machines, materials, and production output.
- Coordinate with Quality, Testing, Stores, Maintenance, and Design/Engineering departments.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify production problems, reduce rejection/rework, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor process parameters and maintain production records.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials such as copper/aluminium, CRGO/core materials, insulation materials, epoxy resin, terminals, and hardware.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards on the shop floor.
- Support troubleshooting of manufacturing issues and improve productivity.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain production documentation.
- Assist in process improvement, cycle-time reduction, and wastage reduction.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Transformer fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of CT/PT construction, winding, insulation, core, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of production planning and shop-floor management.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, ERP/MIS, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing is an advantage.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
