Job Brief
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive – Audit & Accounts to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
Education & Experience
- CA Inter / B.Com / M.Com (CA articleship or internship under a CA firm preferred)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Audit, and Taxation
- Experience in the real estate, construction, or project-based industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, journal entries, credit notes, inventory accounting, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and closing activities.
- Handle statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure timely completion of bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, provisions, accruals, and depreciation schedules.
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, MIS reporting, and management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, auditors, and consultants for financial and compliance-related matters.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation and efficiency in accounting processes.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel (Advanced Excel including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and basic financial analysis), and accounting software.
- Excellent understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
