Mathematics Teacher – Kriyative International School
Kriyative International School is looking for an agile, energetic and passionate Mathematics Teacher who can make mathematics meaningful, engaging and enjoyable for children.
We are not looking for someone who simply teaches from the textbook. We want an educator who encourages children to think, question, explore, experiment and confidently apply mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based mathematics lessons.
- Champion active learning through games, manipulatives, investigations, projects and real-life applications.
- Experiment with different teaching methodologies to meet varied learning needs.
- Encourage mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and independent thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback.
- Create a positive classroom environment where children feel confident to participate and learn from mistakes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons and improve teaching practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate actively in school events, training programmes and academic initiatives.

- Has sound mathematical knowledge and clear communication skills.
- Can manage a classroom positively and maintain high learning expectations.

- Is comfortable using teaching aids and technology to enhance learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Previous school-teaching experience is desirable.
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
