ECURE is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Senior Manager – Business Development and Networking to drive strategic business expansion in the Insurance and Pre-Insurance Healthcare Services domain. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with insurance companies, diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, healthcare providers, and corporate organizations to strengthen ECURE's market presence.
The role demands a strong understanding of the insurance ecosystem, particularly pre-policy medical examinations, with the ability to establish long-term collaborations that enhance business growth, improve operational efficiency, and maximize revenue opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for creating new business channels, negotiating commercial agreements, expanding the diagnostic partner network, and positioning ECURE as a preferred healthcare partner for insurance companies across India.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
· Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the organization's growth objectives.
· Identify, evaluate, and convert new business opportunities in the Insurance, Healthcare, and Pre-Insurance sectors.
· Prepare annual business development plans, revenue forecasts, and market expansion strategies.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business acquisition and revenue targets.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and emerging business opportunities to recommend strategic initiatives.
Insurance Company Partnerships
· Develop and strengthen relationships with Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance companies, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
· Identify insurance companies involved in pre-policy medical examinations and establish strategic partnerships.
· Initiate discussions with senior decision-makers within insurance organizations to onboard ECURE as their preferred healthcare service partner.
· Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, service-level agreements (SLAs), and partnership contracts.
· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective relationship management and timely issue resolution.
· Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless execution of insurance medical examination programs.
Diagnostic Centre Network Expansion
· Develop an extensive network of diagnostic centres, pathology laboratories, imaging centres, and hospitals across target geographies.
· Increase partnerships with diagnostic centres with a primary focus on Pre-Insurance Policy Medical Examination services.
· Identify high-quality diagnostic partners capable of meeting insurance company service standards.
· Evaluate partner capabilities, infrastructure, quality certifications, turnaround times, and compliance requirements.
· Negotiate commercial agreements and service contracts with diagnostic partners.
· Continuously monitor partner performance, quality metrics, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.
Strategic Networking & Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders across the insurance and healthcare ecosystem.
· Represent ECURE at industry conferences, insurance forums, healthcare exhibitions, networking events, and business meetings.
· Identify strategic alliances that can strengthen ECURE's service portfolio and geographic presence.
· Establish long-term relationships with corporate organizations requiring employee health screening and wellness programs.
· Collaborate with healthcare providers, medical practitioners, hospitals, and wellness organizations to generate referral opportunities.
Market Research & Business Intelligence
· Conduct detailed market research to identify new customer segments and untapped markets.
· Analyze competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and business models.
· Prepare business intelligence reports for senior management with actionable recommendations.
· Identify opportunities for new healthcare services based on market demand and customer feedback.
Leadership & Team Management
· Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Development team to achieve organizational objectives.
· Set performance goals and monitor KPIs for team members.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance productivity.
· Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-centric work culture.
Commercial & Contract Management
· Prepare business proposals, presentations, tenders, and commercial quotations.
· Lead contract negotiations ensuring mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
· Maintain profitability while ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality service delivery.
· Monitor contract renewals, amendments, and compliance with agreed service standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Operations, Medical Services, Finance, IT, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth implementation of client requirements.
· Coordinate with diagnostic partners and insurance clients to resolve operational challenges.
· Support new service launches and process improvement initiatives.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
· Ensure all business development activities comply with applicable healthcare regulations and insurance industry standards.
· Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information.
· Ensure diagnostic partners adhere to quality, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & MIS
· Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
· Monitor sales pipeline, lead conversion, partnership status, and revenue performance.
· Present business updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
· Maintain accurate CRM records, partnership documentation, and contract databases.
Qualifications
· Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
· Certification in Sales, Strategic Management, or Healthcare Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
· 3–5 years of progressive experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Sales, or Key Account Management.
· Minimum 3 years of experience working with Insurance, Healthcare, Diagnostics, TPAs, or Hospital Networks.
· Proven experience in developing partnerships with insurance companies and diagnostic centres for pre-policy medical examination services.
· Demonstrated success in revenue generation, strategic alliances, and business expansion.
