About the Opportunity
We are hiring a Planning Engineer for a leading listed engineering manufacturing company based in Chakan, Pune. The ideal candidate should have experience in production planning, scheduling, SAP coordination, and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and production capacity.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Quality departments for smooth execution of plans.
- Track material availability and coordinate with procurement teams to prevent shortages.
- Maintain and update production planning data in SAP.
- Generate MIS reports, production schedules, and planning-related documentation.
- Analyze production delays and support corrective action implementation.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and other resources.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills
- Experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Production Planning (SAP PP).
- Knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
