Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer with 4–6 years of site execution experience to manage infrastructure installation at our commercial farm locations. You will oversee the execution of MEP works and specialized agricultural systems—including automation and mechanisation of climate-controlled greenhouses —ensuring strict alignment with project timelines, safety codes, and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management: Oversee daily MEP installations, coordinate site labor, and track heavy equipment delivery schedules across farm development sites.
- Construction Management: Drive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works from initial site routing through to final testing and commissioning.
- Quality Management: Perform rigorous quality inspections on all MEP materials and installations to guarantee compliance with engineering designs.
- OHSE Management: Enforce company Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) policies strictly to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
Required Technical & Software Skills
- Irrigation & Pumping: Execute the installation of plumbing lines, foggers, high-capacity pumping stations, and automated filtration units.
- Climate Control: Manage the setup of HVAC systems, automated venting, and shading systems for commercial high-tech greenhouses.
- Power Distribution: Supervise the setup of rural electrical grids and backup diesel generators to ensure uninterrupted farm operations.
- Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD for plan modifications, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for tracking progress, and G-Suite for cloud-based team reporting.
Required Soft Skills
- Communication: Articulate updates clearly to corporate management, rural site laborers, and engineering vendors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Civil Engineers, agricultural consultants, and system vendors to eliminate installation conflicts.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve mechanical interferences and electrical routing bottlenecks swiftly on-site.
- Decision-Making: Exercise quick, safe judgment regarding resource allocation and critical path challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of site execution experience, preferably within agro-industrial and industrial projects.
Mobility
- Must be fully willing to relocate to rural or remote commercial farm project sites as required.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
