Calypso Way is a US-based IT staffing firm placing engineering and technology consultants with clients across the United States. We are growing our bench sales team to accelerate placements and are looking for driven, experienced sales professionals to help us market our consultants and close deals fast.
About the role:
As a bench sales recruiter at Calypso Way, your job is to market our available IT consultants to US-based vendors, prime vendors, and direct clients to secure contract placements. You will work closely with our recruiting team, who build the candidate pipeline. Your role is to take those candidates and find them their next project as quickly as possible.
Work Schedule:
Must be available during US West Coast (PST) business hours, Monday through Friday.
Standard shift for India-based candidates: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST
Responsibilities:
- Market available IT consultants to US staffing vendors, prime vendors, and direct clients via email and phone
- Search and identify new requirements on job portals (Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, Indeed) that match our consultants' profiles
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and account managers for repeat business
- Negotiate rates with vendors to maximize consultant billing and company margin
- Submit consultant profiles to matching requirements and follow up aggressively to secure interviews
- Coordinate interview schedules between consultants and clients and ensure smooth communication throughout
- Track all activity, submissions, and follow-ups in the shared pipeline tracker daily
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in bench sales or US IT staffing. This is non-negotiable
- Strong understanding of US work authorizations H1B, H4 EAD, OPT, Green Card, and US citizen,
- Familiarity with job portals, Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, Indeed, and vendor portals
- Excellent spoken and written English, you will be speaking with US clients and vendors daily
- Confident, persuasive communicator who is comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
