want executive assistant for our company.
An executive assistant is the operational right hand of a C-level or senior leader. The job isn’t just calendar and email - it’s about removing friction so the executive can focus on high-leverage decisions.Core functionsCalendar and time management: Ruthlessly prioritize the exec’s time. That means defending focus blocks, prepping briefing docs before meetings, and canceling or delegating low-ROI commitments.Information filtering: Act as the gatekeeper. Triage emails, messages, and requests. Surface what’s urgent or strategic, summarize the rest, and kill the noise.Meeting ownership: Set agendas, distribute pre-reads, take notes, track follow-ups. The EA often knows more about project status than anyone except the PMs.Project and ops support: Run small projects the exec doesn’t have time for: board meeting logistics, hiring loops, offsites, vendor negotiations, travel with contingency planning.Decision prep: Assemble context fast. That means pulling data, drafting 1-pagers, spotting contradictions, and briefing the exec 5 minutes before a tough call.Skills that actually matterJudgment: Knowing what to escalate vs handle vs delete. This is 80% of the role.Communication: Write like the exec talks. Clear, direct, no fluff.Discretion: You’ll see sensitive comp, strategy, and people issues. Loose lips end careers.Proactive pattern recognition: You catch the missed follow-up, the double-booked VC, the relationship tension, before the exec does.
