XIME Kochi invites applications for the position of Junior Library Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to support our library operations and provide excellent service to students and faculty.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) – Mandatory
- 0–2 years of experience in an academic/institutional library.
- Freshers with relevant library technical knowledge may also apply.
Key Skills
- Library circulation and basic library operations
- Knowledge of Koha or other Library Management Systems
- OPAC, cataloguing, and classification
- Book shelving and collection maintenance
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Team player with attention to detail
