Te Whiwhinga Mahi/The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Health Professional (Allied Health or Nursing registration) to join our Living My Life Service at Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust. Working part-time, you will coordinate the development and delivery of individualised client support plans for people living with serious or complex TBI in the community.
In this pivotal role, you will work alongside clients, their whanau, ACC, rehabilitation coaches, therapists, our Pou Arahi, and a range of internal and external service providers to enable clients to improve their quality of life through meaningful activities, building natural supports, and goal achievement aligned to their values and aspirations.

- Hold current registration with a relevant health professional body (Allied Health or Nursing)
- Have experience in and a genuine passion for working with the TBI population
- Bring a minimum of three years' experience in a rehabilitation or community setting working with the TBI population, ideally in serious/complex injury (desirable)
- Have strong coordination and report writing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate client progress against their goals and in alignment with the Living My Life service objectives
- Be highly organised with excellent time management and technology skills to manage a varied workload
- Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, whanau, ACC, and a wide range of community and service partners
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
- Work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
