Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in designing electrical control panels for automation systems. The candidate will be
responsible for designing, drafting, and supporting the development of control panels used in industrial automation applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical control panel schematics and layouts for automation systems (PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA, etc.).
- Prepare electrical drawings including single-line diagrams (SLD), general arrangement (GA), wiring diagrams, termination drawings, and panel BOMs.
- Select appropriate components such as PLCs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, power supplies, terminal blocks, and cables.
- Work with software tools such as AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN.
- Coordinate with automation, production, and project teams to ensure designs meet customer and functional requirements.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards (IEC, NEC, UL, IS).
- Provide technical support to panel manufacturing team during assembly and testing.
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and protection device selection.
- Assist in design documentation, project reports, and client approvals.
