Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations across e-commerce, retail, and supply chain & warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing B2B and B2C business operations, online marketplaces, offline retail stores, warehousing, inventory management, logistics, and customer fulfillment. The role requires a strategic leader capable of improving operational efficiency, driving business growth, and ensuring seamless customer experiences across all sales channels.
Key ResponsibilitiesE-commerce Operations
- Manage end-to-end operations for B2B and B2C e-commerce channels.
- Oversee order management, order processing, fulfillment, shipping, and delivery.
- Ensure seamless coordination between warehouses, logistics partners, and customer support teams.
- Monitor marketplace performance across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Shopify, and company websites.
- Improve operational efficiency while maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs).
Online & Offline Retail Operations
- Manage operations across online sales channels and offline retail stores.
- Coordinate with store managers to ensure smooth retail operations.
- Monitor inventory availability across stores and warehouses.
- Ensure effective stock allocation and replenishment between warehouses and retail outlets.
- Implement operational best practices to improve customer experience and sales performance.
B2B & B2C Business Operations
- Handle institutional, wholesale, distributor, dealer, and retail customer operations.
- Coordinate with key accounts and channel partners for order execution.
- Ensure timely dispatch and fulfillment of B2B purchase orders.
- Manage B2C customer order fulfillment while maintaining high service standards.
Supply Chain Management
- Plan, implement, and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations.
- Develop demand forecasting and inventory planning strategies.
- Manage procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Optimize supply chain costs while maintaining product availability.
- Ensure efficient coordination with suppliers and logistics partners.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Oversee inventory planning, stock control, and warehouse operations.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and reconciliations.
- Reduce inventory aging and dead stock.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Optimize warehouse utilization and storage efficiency.
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and courier partners.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer orders.
- Monitor transportation costs and logistics performance.
- Handle reverse logistics, returns, exchanges, and damaged goods efficiently.
Vendor & Procurement Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure timely procurement of products and materials.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation and digital transformation in operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor operations, warehouse, logistics, and retail teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Analyze key business metrics and operational performance.
- Present reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop action plans based on operational data and trends.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the Apparel, Fashion, Lifestyle, Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Goods industry is highly preferred.
