Position: Tata Ace Driver
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Job Responsibilities
- Drive Tata Ace for company transportation and material movement.
- Pick up and deliver raw materials, machine components, tools and finished products.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Transport materials between suppliers, company locations and customer sites.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and documents.
- Check quantity and condition of materials during pickup and delivery.
- Maintain delivery challans, invoices, trip sheets and other transport documents.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Production and Project teams.
- Follow traffic rules and company safety procedures.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Check fuel, tyres, oil and basic vehicle condition regularly.
- Report vehicle issues and maintenance requirements to the management.
- Assist with loading and unloading whenever required.
- Handle company materials carefully to prevent damage or loss.
Requirements
- Valid LMV Driving Licence.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Tata Ace / commercial vehicle driving experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing / industrial company is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Chennai routes and industrial areas.
- Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to handle loading and unloading activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Working Hours
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
6 Days Working | Sunday Holiday
