Job Title: Design Engineer – SolidWorks
Experience: 1–5 Years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Location: T. Nagar, Chennai
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 1–5 years of experience in SolidWorks. The ideal candidate should be proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modeling and have a strong understanding of engineering drawings. Experience in the uPVC doors & windows manufacturing industry will be an added advantage. Candidates with a Civil Engineering educational background will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop accurate designs.
- Coordinate with production and project teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on project requirements and site feedback.
- Maintain design documentation and drawing revisions.
- Ensure all designs comply with company standards and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–5 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Civil Engineering educational background.
- Experience in the uPVC doors & windows manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with fabrication drawings and manufacturing processes is preferred.
