Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management preferred.
- Relevant hospitality certifications are an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service, Room Service, or In-Room Dining operations.
- Experience in hotels, resorts, or hospitality establishments preferred.
Job Summary
The IRD Captain is responsible for managing and delivering efficient in-room dining services, ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt order handling, quality service, and professional communication. The role includes coordinating with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process guest room service orders accurately.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and F&B service team for order preparation and delivery.
- Ensure timely and professional delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.
- Set up trays, trolleys, and dining arrangements according to hotel standards.
- Verify order accuracy before delivery.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service equipment and pantry areas.
- Clear room service trays and trolleys from guest rooms promptly.
- Assist in preparing bills and processing payments where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.
- Support restaurant and banquet operations when required.
