We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Operations to lead the overall operations of our JCB dealership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, profitability, and team performance across Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and Customer Support functions.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in dealership operations, commercial business management, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering business results in the construction equipment or commercial vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete dealership operations, ensuring achievement of business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and Aftermarket business.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
- Monitor dealership KPIs including sales targets, service efficiency, parts turnover, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Ensure excellent customer relationship management and timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with JCB standards, company policies, statutory regulations, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with OEM representatives and participate in audits, reviews, and business planning meetings.
- Strengthen dealer network performance through process improvements and operational excellence.
- Monitor warranty operations, service quality, and parts availability.
- Develop business plans to expand market share and improve customer retention.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, operational reviews, and management presentations.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- PG is preferred.
Experience Required
- Minimum 15 years of overall experience in dealership or commercial operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Commercial Vehicle, Construction Equipment, or Heavy Equipment sector in a senior leadership role.
- Prior experience with JCB, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Tata Hitachi, CASE, Volvo CE, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, Eicher, or similar OEM dealerships will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹125,000.00 per month
