Business Development Executive — Event Décor & Production Events Grove | Mohali | Full-time | Fixed salary + uncapped incentive on every booking About the role This is a sales role first. You own the pipeline from first enquiry to signed booking. If you like chasing numbers, negotiating and getting paid more for closing more, this is built for you. We design and produce weddings, corporate events and celebrations across the Tricity. Every enquiry that comes in is yours to convert.
What you'll own
Sales (your core mandate)
● Respond to every incoming lead — calls, WhatsApp, Instagram, referrals — within the hour, not the next day
● Qualify fast: budget, date, guest count, venue, decision-maker
● Pitch décor concepts that fit the client's budget and taste, and defend the price
● Build and send quotations, then follow up until you get a yes or a clear no
● Close bookings and collect advances
● Keep the pipeline current daily — no lead goes cold because nobody logged it
● Bring in new business yourself: wedding planners, venues, banquet managers, photographers, caterers, corporate HR teams. Inbound alone won't hit the target.
Client & project support
● Attend site visits and client meetings
● Hand over confirmed bookings cleanly to operations and production
● Stay the client's point of contact through the event so they come back and refer you
● Prepare presentations schedules and simple reports
What success looks like
● Month 1: you know our décor range, pricing and past work well enough to quote without help
● Month 3: you're consistently hitting your monthly booking target and have added at least a handful of active planner/venue relationships
● Ongoing: measurable enquiry-to-booking conversion, not just activity
What we're looking for
● 1–3 years in sales, ideally event, décor, hospitality, real estate or another high-ticket, relationship-led category
● Someone who is comfortable asking for the order and following up four times without flinching
● Strong spoken and written communication in English, Hindi and Punjabi
● Confident in front of clients — in person and on video
● Genuinely organised: multiple weddings, multiple deadlines, nothing dropped
● Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint/Word and Canva
● Two-wheeler/car and willingness to travel across the Tricity for meetings and site visits Exceptional freshers with real hunger and excellent communication will be considered — but you'll need to show us why.
What you get
● Fixed salary of ₹30,000 per month, based on experience
● Uncapped incentive: 5 % of every confirmed booking value, paid out monthly

Weekend and event-day availability during peak season — that's the industry, and we'd rather be upfront about it.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
