Main responsibilities of a CFO in a textile company:
- Prepare and manage the company's budget.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Control production and operating costs.
- Oversee taxation, audits, and legal compliance.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and auditors.
- Support decisions related to pricing, expansion, and investments.
- Monitor inventory costs for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Improve profitability by reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
Skills required:
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance.
- Cost accounting and budgeting.
- Financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Knowledge of taxation and corporate laws.
- Leadership and decision-making.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Qualifications:
- Typically a Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or CMA/Cost Accountant with significant industry experience.
