Job Summary:-
The Staff Nurse (A4) is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to women and couples accessing maternity and fertility services. The role involves supporting patients throughout antenatal, postnatal, and fertility treatment pathways while maintaining high clinical standards, patient dignity, and confidentiality.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care:-
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing maternity and fertility treatments
Assist in antenatal, postnatal, and fertility procedures as per clinical protocols
Monitor, assess, and document patient condition accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with policies
Support obstetricians, gynecologists, embryologists, and multidisciplinary teams during procedures
Patient Support & Education:-
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, procedures, and aftercare
Promote informed decision-making and patient-centered care
Safety & Quality:-
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
Documentation & Communication:-
Maintain accurate nursing records and reports
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Participate in handovers and multidisciplinary meetings
Professional Development:-
Adhere to professional nursing standards and code of conduct
Participate in training, continuing education, and skill development
Support junior staff and students as required
Qualifications & Experience Essential:-
Registered Nurse with valid nursing license
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience or training in maternity, obstetrics, gynecology, or fertility care
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:-
Experience in fertility or assisted reproductive technology (ART) services
Certification or additional training in maternal or reproductive health
Basic life support (BLS) / advanced life support (ALS) certification
Skills & Competencies:-
Strong clinical and assessment skills
Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Good organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice
Working Conditions:-
Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, or on-call duties (as applicable)
Clinical environment with direct patient care responsibilities
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
