Responsible for managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise SD-WAN and network infrastructure in a 24x7 operations environment. Acts as the highest level of technical escalation within operations, ensuring network availability, performance, security, and service continuity.
- Monitor and manage SD-WAN infrastructure across multiple sites and regions.
- Configure and troubleshoot SD-WAN policies, application-aware routing, path selection, and WAN optimization features.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for SD-WAN-related incidents.
- Manage device onboarding, provisioning, and lifecycle activities.
Ensure optimal performance of internet, MPLS, broadband, and LTE connectivity.
- Support and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networks.
- Troubleshoot routing and switching issues involving:
- BGP
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- Static Routing
- VLANs
- STP
- HSRP/VRRP
- Manage network performance and capacity planning.
Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Act as L3 escalation point for critical network incidents.
- Conduct detailed packet analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
- Coordinate with ISPs, carriers, and vendors for issue resolution.
- Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare post-incident reports and preventive action plans.
- Support firewall and network security operations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
- Review access requests and network security changes.
- Assist during vulnerability assessments and audits.
- Review and implement network-related changes.
- Perform risk assessment and rollback planning.
- Participate in maintenance windows and infrastructure upgrades.
- Validate successful implementation post-change.
