Job Description – Business Development Executive (BDE)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE)
to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and building
long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the
FinTech and Digital Payments industry, with a proven track record in sales, business
development, and client acquisition. The candidate should be self-motivated, target-driven,
and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, field
visits, cold calling, email campaigns, and referrals.
Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business relationships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and payment
solutions.
Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms with clients.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates
using CRM tools.
Conduct regular field visits to meet merchants, channel partners, and prospective clients to
expand business opportunities.
Provide timely reports on sales activities, market intelligence, and business performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, or Account
Management.
Prior experience in the FinTech, Digital Payments, Payment Gateway, QR Payments, UPI,
POS Solutions, Banking, or Financial Services industry is mandatory.
Experience working with organizations such as PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BharatPe,
Razorpay, Pine Labs, PayU, or similar payment and FinTech companies will be an added
advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
within a team.
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and field sales activities.

Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Number of new merchant/client acquisitions.
Revenue generated from new and existing clients.
Lead conversion ratio.
Client retention and relationship management.
Pipeline growth and business expansion.
Timely reporting and CRM data accuracy.
