A Store Incharge oversees daily operations, inventory management, and staff supervision in a retail or warehouse setting. They ensure efficient stock storage, accurate record-keeping (FIFO, GRN), and adherence to safety protocols. Key duties include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and boosting sales.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Maintain inventory levels, manage stock receipts, conduct regular audits, and perform stock reconciliations.
- Daily Operations: Oversee opening/closing procedures, ensure cleanliness, and maintain organization within the store or warehouse.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise store staff, including performance evaluations.
- Documentation: Prepare daily/monthly reports on inventory, sales, and discrepancies.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and implement company policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations, or material handling.
- Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Core Competencies: Ability to work under pressure and manage stock accuracy.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per hour
