Role Description
The role of the Assistant Reservations Manager is crucial in achieving sales targets and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction through effective communication and negotiation skills. You will be responsible towards ensuring short term villa reservations across our luxury villas and apartments.
- Engaging with potential guests via phone, email, and online platforms to handle inquiries about our exclusive villas.
- Presenting comprehensive details about villa offerings, amenities, and services to prospective guests.
- Leveraging persuasive skills to effectively convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Negotiating terms, rates, and tailored packages to optimise revenue while meeting guest expectations.
- Maintaining accurate records of reservations, payments, and guest preferences in our reservation system.
- Collaborating with the operations team to facilitate smooth check-ins and fulfil pre-arrival commitments.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor pricing, and guest feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Achieving and surpassing monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Assisting in the development of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive bookings.
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and during guests' stays.
Requirements
- Must have experience of 4-5 years in reservations and guest interaction.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to effectively influence guest decisions.
- Proficiency in channel management software and online booking platforms.
- Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Dedication to hospitality excellence and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work weekends and holidays is a must.
