Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all garments meet buyer quality standards, factory requirements, and compliance norms from fabric inspection to final shipment. The role includes managing inline, end-line, and final inspections, handling quality teams, reducing defects, and maintaining overall product quality as per buyer expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & Assurance
- Develop and implement quality standards and SOPs for garments.
- Monitor quality from fabric inspection to final packing.
- Ensure compliance with buyer specifications and quality requirements.
- Conduct inline, midline, end-line, and final inspections.
- Analyze defects and take corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Reduce DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) and improve quality performance.
Production Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Packing departments.
- Ensure quality checkpoints are followed at every production stage.
- Monitor production quality status and provide daily reports.
Team Management
- Handle QA/QC inspectors, line checkers, and auditors.
- Train operators and quality staff on quality standards and defect prevention.
- Conduct quality meetings and awareness sessions.
Buyer & Audit Handling
- Handle buyer inspections and third-party audits.
- Ensure factory readiness for audits and inspections.
- Maintain quality documents, reports, and records.
Root Cause Analysis
- Identify recurring quality issues.
- Implement corrective actions for process improvement.
- Maintain defect analysis reports and improvement plans.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with buyer manuals and export standards.
- Maintain quality reports, inspection records, CAPA reports, and audit documents.
- Monitor AQL standards during inspections.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
