Diabcare India ( Diabetic Centre ) is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk/Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Patient and Visitor Reception: Greet all patients, visitors, and staff with a warm and professional demeanor, providing clear directions and assistance.
- Telephone Management: Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, taking accurate messages and routing them appropriately.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments accurately, ensuring efficient flow and minimizing wait times.
- Patient Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Efficiently manage patient registration processes, including verifying insurance information and updating patient records. Handle check-out procedures and process payments as needed.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to hospital policies.
- Communication and Coordination: Liaise effectively with various hospital departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of patient needs.
- Maintaining a Welcoming Environment: Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Handling Inquiries: Respond to patient and visitor inquiries in a professional and informative manner, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to follow established protocols in emergency situations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in [Specify preferred languages, e.g., Malayalam and English].
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems (familiarity with [mention specific EMR if applicable] is a plus).
