Junior Engineer / Shift Supervisor – Injection Moulding Operations
Department Production – Injection Moulding
Location- Hindupur , Andhra Pradesh
Reports To- Production Engineer / Production In-Charge
Experience--6 Years +
Industry Preference- Injection Moulding / Plastic Packaging / Manufacturing
Qualification-Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Plastic / Polymer Engineering

Job Purpose
To handle shift-wise production and processing activities of Injection Moulding machines while ensuring production targets, product quality, and smooth manpower handling.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle complete shift-wise operation and processing of Injection Moulding Machines.
· Set and monitor machine parameters to achieve optimum production output and product quality.
· Hands-on experience in processing different raw materials such as PPCP, HDPE, LLDPE, Nylon, ABS, and other engineering polymers.
· Ensure smooth startup, mould setting support, machine operation, and production continuity during shifts.
· Monitor machine performance, cycle time, rejection levels, and process stability.
· Troubleshoot common moulding defects such as flash, short moulding, shrinkage, warpage, burn marks, and flow lines.
· Coordinate with Production Engineer / In-Charge for process improvement and breakdown support.
· Ensure proper material feeding, drying, color mixing, and handling of raw materials.
· Supervise operators, helpers, and contractual labour during shifts to maintain productivity and discipline.
· Maintain daily production records, rejection reports, machine performance data, and shift handover details.
· Ensure implementation of safety practices, SOP compliance, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
· Support mould changing, trial activities, and new product development processes when required.
· Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, raw material, and machine capacity during the shift.
Technical Skills Required
· Hands-on experience in Injection Moulding machine operation and processing.
· Basic knowledge of moulds, hot runner systems, and auxiliary equipment.
· Understanding of polymer behavior and processing conditions for different granules.
· Ability to identify and troubleshoot common moulding defects.
· Experience in handling hydraulic and servo Injection Moulding Machines.
· Good understanding of production targets, rejection control, and cycle time optimization.
· Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and machine care.
· Computer operating knowledge and ERP/SAP exposure preferred.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
