Job Overview
American Worldwide Logistics is looking for motivated and experienced Freight Brokers to join our growing team in Mohali. If you have experience in the U.S. trucking and logistics industry, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for building customer relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and book freight loads from shippers and brokers.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and clients.
- Coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery.
- Resolve shipment issues and provide exceptional customer service.
- Track loads and ensure timely updates.
- Maintain accurate records using TMS and load boards.
Requirements
- 6 months to 3 years of experience in U.S. Freight Brokerage.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong negotiation and sales abilities.
- Knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, or similar load boards is preferred.
- Familiarity with TMS software is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
