Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and hardworking Fitters to join our Electric Vehicle Assembly Line. The candidate will be responsible for assembling electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers according to standard operating procedures, ensuring high quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers on the production line.
- Fit mechanical, electrical, and body components as per assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Install motors, controllers, batteries, wiring harnesses, suspension, brakes, steering, wheels, and body panels.
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and power tools correctly.
- Ensure all fasteners are tightened to specified torque values.
- Identify and report defective parts or assembly issues.
- Carry out in-process quality checks and rectify minor defects.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the workstation (5S).
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Meet daily production targets without compromising quality.
Required Qualification
- ITI in Fitter, Mechanic, Electrician, Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience but without an ITI may also be considered.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in vehicle assembly, preferably in:
- Electric Vehicles
- Two-Wheelers
- Three-Wheelers
- Automobiles
- Auto Components
- Commercial Vehicles
Fresh ITI graduates with good technical aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly and fastening techniques.
- Familiarity with torque tools and hand tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
