Structural Fitter – Job Description
We are looking for skilled Structural Fitters to join our shipbuilding and marine projects team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble structural steel components as per engineering drawings.
- Mark, align, and position plates, beams, and other structural members.
- Interpret structural drawings and ensure accurate fit-up before welding.
- Maintain quality standards and follow safety procedures at the worksite.
Requirements:
- Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or structural steel fabrication projects.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings.
- ITI/Diploma or relevant trade certification preferred.
