Job Summary
The Assistant HR Manager supports the HR Head/HR Manager in executing HR strategies, managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations. The role ensures smooth HR functioning and alignment with organizational goals, especially in fast-paced environments like FMCG/F&B.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process for various roles.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Ensure timely hiring and maintain recruitment trackers.
- Build talent pipelines for critical positions.
2. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee attendance, payroll inputs, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Monitor statutory requirements (ESI, PF, etc.).
- Maintain HR documentation and audit readiness.
3. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives.
- Address employee grievances and improve workplace culture.
- Implement retention strategies to reduce attrition.
4. Performance Management
- Support implementation of KPI/KRA systems.
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles.
- Track employee performance and development plans.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.
- Support onboarding and continuous employee development.
6. HR MIS & Reporting
- Prepare HR reports: attrition, hiring, attendance, performance.
- Analyze HR data to support decision-making.
- Present reports to management.
7. Team Coordination
- Supervise and guide HR Executives/Assistants.
- Ensure smooth HR operations across outlets/branches.

Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in HR (preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree
- 3–6 years of HR experience (FMCG/F&B/Retail preferred)
